Bravery, 2015, sunshine and Cuties.

THANKFUL FOR: A re-vamp of where I want to spend my "working" hours. Throughout the past few years, I have done the appropriate thing - I've been employed in a job that I got a degree in..and it wasn't what I wanted. There were a few things that I enjoyed and learned from (and I'm thankful for that!), but it just didn't work.
And my most recent job..well, let's just say it didn't work out and I no longer work there. So, this is the time to think about what I do - and whether or not "9-5" works or if this is the time to be a little unique and do something different! Cheers to 2015, right?

EATING: Nothing at the moment. After my stint at the gym (2.5 miles on the treadmill - with a workout that kicked my butt! And some rowing and I shot some baskets. It's been a while since I've played ball, it was nice!), I came home and made one of my "bowls". I cook quinoa (mushroom is my favorite right now), and add a turkey burger, spinach, black beans and avocado. It's spectacular and super easy!

LISTENING TO: "Downton Abbey". I started the 4th season this morning! I'm trying to get caught up so I can chat with my parents about it. You know you're super cool when your parents have seen something and you haven't, hah!

Maggie Smith is a queen.

FEELING: COLD. It's 50 something degrees outside and my stupid house is like 30. It's a mess and I can't do anything about it.
Also, a bit hopeful. With the new year coming and a change in my employment, I guess there's always a chance to change. I'm excited..hopeful..and also completely terrified.

THINKING ABOUT: Getting in the shower, going for a bike ride, a new job, the cold, boyfriend, and a nap. Some of those things I can change, some I probably won't do, and others I'm very happy with.

Also, houses.

Houses are always on my mind.
One day I might get one. That's kind of exciting.

WATCHING: "Downton Abbey".

Carson and I would be best friends. I'm sure of it.

READING: New job postings. (!!) If anyone knows of a job where I don't have to do anything but watch TV and wear pajamas, let me know. Also, if anyone has any other, you know, real jobs..those can be thrown my way too.

LOVING: Those little Cuties (yum), warm socks, and sunshine with the cold weather.

This break between employment has turned me into a hopeful little softie that talks about oranges, socks and sunshine.. :) it's kind of fun!
